release date!!! | 02-01-2010The new Hostile Cell album will be released on april 6th worldwide through Coreshot Productions with distribution from Plugged Records Distribution. Simon Janlöv just started mixing the 12 songs that will end up on the album titled "The Deafening"

Hostile Cell album 2 | 12-12-2009We have agreed on the title of the album. It will be called "the Deafening", reflecting the chaotic media static that surrounds every civilized human 24-7, and of course the sonic assault that these songs will deliver.
The album will be mixed in january and tentatively released in april of 2010.

While youre waiting for the new HC album... | 04-12-2009Be sure to check out newly signed Coreshot Productions artist Debbie Ray. Hardrock in the vein of Motley Crue, Skid Row, Hardcore Superstar etc. Debbie Rays debut album called "Artificial Misery" will be available in Europe on february 1st.

frustration and creation goes hand in hand... | 11-11-2009We are still working on the album but have experienced some big problems due to certain band members not doing what theyre expected to do.
Its kind of been a one man show in the studio lately. Anyway, Im starting with the vocals next week, so everything else must and will be finished by this coming sunday.
We have a gig at STICKY FINGERS, Göteborg next friday on the 20th. Well play you some new songs if you come by and swing some beers with us.

Update from the studio | 20-09-2009I just want to let you know that everything is going great in the studio. A bit slow but the results are just supercool.
This album will have it all, Im serious. Itll be miles apart from our debut album. More of everything. Imagine the combination of Iron Maidens twin leads, Disturbeds rythmic riffing, Papa Roach rock choruses and Alice in Chains groove. What the fuck, is this guy serious, you might say?
Yep, we stuck it all in there. You might hate it, but more likely it will blow you away!!!!
Because it wont disappoint anyone whos into heavy rock music....

Small update | 07-07-2009Put down some sick vocals for a song called "Driven by Hate". Its a fuckin sledgehammer to the gut, heaviest so far.
Weve got the whole spectra going on this album, from modern rock to the sickest metal riffs.
We havent decided yet how we are going to release the album, but I think it will contain 10-11 songs

First day of video shoot done! | 06-12-2008We went up to Borås today and shot the first part of the video for our song "nothing" with producer and film photographer Magnus Peterson.
We had a really good time and we want to thank Magnus for stepping up and helping us out with everything, and Ola Lindström of Hide the Knives who was fuckin awesome as our stand in bass player!

Things are starting to happen now... We've been featured twice on EGLNradio.com, an american radiostation, which is great. Hostile Cell is coming to take over the world, and nothing can stop us =) We are writing stuff for our next album, which will be in general, a faster tempo thing. Still really, really heavy, with great choruses. But you willl have to wait until the end of next year to hear that stuff, unless you come to see us. We are putting full focus into supporting our debutalbum right now!

It's only 7 weeks left until the official release of our album. The CD's are already pressed and the new artwork looks awesome.

The album will have all new artwork and photos, but will contain the same music as before. The big difference is that we now have secured a good distribution channel to get it out to you all!

We have some good news for you. Rehearsals are going great and we are proud to welcome our new guitarist Johan to the band. Hopefully it won't be too long until we start playing some shows now.
The album is going to be printed in 500 copies to start with, and will be sold at all shows and here at myspace along with t-shirts. The package deal is 200 kronor for the album and a t-shirt. Everything is super high quality.
