Hostile Cell from Gothenburg, Sweden, was formed in the fall of 2006 by Per Romvall, Martin Söderqvist and Eric Olausson. Second guitarist Johan Svensson was added to the bands lineup in 2007.
The main intention of the two founding members Per and Martin was to play as heavy as it gets, without losing the melodies. Having played only a handfull of liveshows in Sweden, the band is already known for sounding just as good or even better live, than on record.

The selftitled debt was recorded at the bands own studio in Gothenburg and mixed by musical prodigy Mac Lavendell. Mastering was handled by Dragan Tanaskovich at Bohussound Recordings.
Hostile Cell delivers massive, downtuned riffmetal with melodic hooks, and has succeeded in creating an original sound of their own, that sets them apart from many of the modern "screamo" bands.
The selftitled debut album comes out October 1st, through the bands own label "Coreshot Productions". Distribution is handled by swedish Plugged Records, and the album will be available on Itunes right from the start.
